Frequently asked questions

Are the new Labour Codes in force?

Yes. The Government made the four Labour Codes effective from 21 November 2025, and Central Rules were notified in May 2026. State rules are a separate step — Maharashtra's rules were published as drafts in April–May 2026. See the Legal Updates library for the current verified status.

Do the Central Rules apply to my establishment?

Central Rules apply where the Central Government is the "appropriate Government". For many private establishments the State Government is the appropriate Government, so state rules (and transitional provisions) matter. We help you work out which applies.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Navi Mumbai and Raigad, and establishments across the rest of Maharashtra.

Do you offer a free compliance check?
